Student from DCCS to expose in renowned international conference

Jorge Castillo Sepúlveda will present the preliminary results of one of his research projects at the CCS Conference in Amsterdam.

Jorge Castillo Sepúlveda, third-year student of the Social Complexity Doctorate Program (DCCS) dictated by the Social Complexity Research Center (CICS), which belongs to the Government Faculty of our University, has been selected to present the preliminary results of one of his research projects at the renowned international Conference of Complex Systems (CCS) to be held between September 19 and 23 of the present year in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Jorge, after participating in the open call for international researchers by the CCS, earned a chance to present an academic poster on his research project called “A social network analysis for the bonobos society at Wamba, Democratic Republic of the Congo”. This research project, which now lies in the middle of its developing stage, belongs to his doctoral thesis project and involves the participation of renowned Oxford primatologist, Isabel Behncke, and also the Director of CICS, Carlos Rodríguez-Sickert, University of Cambridge, PhD in Economics.
