Requirements and Process

Applicants to the program must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in disciplines related to the social or natural and exact sciences. 

The selection criteria are:

> Academic background
> Educational or professional path
> Objective

The application process consists of two stages:

I. Application: I. Application: Between July and October 2023, inclusive, applicants will submit their documents through the web form.  

The Certificado de Estado del Postulante en el programa de Postgrado Acreditado (certificate of status of applicant in the accredited graduate program) requested by ANID for applying to the National Doctorate Scholarships, will be issued at the express request of the applicant by sending an email to [email protected] within the period stipulated by said institution. 

II. Selection. Based on the documents submitted, the Admission Committee hierarchizes each applicant. Those with higher scores will be subsequently interviewed by the Committee in each of its dimensions, especially concerning objectives. During the interview, the candidate must present for five minutes on a relevant research problem.
