The Social Complexity Research Center (CICS) of the Government Faculty at Universidad del Desarrollo, together with the Complex Systems Institute of Valparaiso, will held their First Session of Interdisciplinary Discussions: “The Foundations of Human Behavior”.
This event is scheduled for October 6 th and 7 th at UDD and ISCV, respectively. This session seeks to be an interdisciplinary instance for the discussion between social sciences and neuroscience, focusing on the fundamental basis of human behavior from both a physiological perspective and a social/evolutionary point of view.
The event will be held on October 6 th at the graduate building of the ERSB Campus at Universidad del Desarrollo. Furthermore, on October 7 th the discussion will take place in the ISCV Campus in Cerro Artillería, Valparaíso.
This first session will include the participation of many representatives and researchers from the most important research centers and laboratories focused on human behavior. Among them, we will count with the Center for Advanced Studies (CEA) from Universidad de Playa Ancha, the Millenium Biology Nucleus for Neuropsychiatric Diseases (nuMIND), the Behavior and Neurobiology Laboratory (LNC) from Universidad de Vaparaíso and the Evolution and Interpersonal Relations Laboratory (LERI) from Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
