Jose Rafael Vicuña Errázuriz holds a Ph.D in philosophy from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He is currently Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Biological Sciences, of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
The main interest of its research group is to understand the molecular mechanisms that enable the adaptation of cyanobacteria to environments with low water availability.
